For Political Candidates, Campaign Staff, Interns, and Volunteers:
Worried About the New Captioning Law?
Join Us for a Hands-On/How-to Training
Do-It-Yourself Internet Campaign Ads Captioning

FREE CLASS!

In the most recent legislative session, a new law was passed that requires state-level political candidates to caption their Internet and Television advertisements and provide online transcripts of their radio advertisements. The law applies to those candidates who have signed the Public Subsidy Agreement and whose professionally produced advertisements are 2 minutes or less, but anyone can caption their own internet campaign ads without spending a penny. This workshop is open to anyone involved in campaigns with an interest in learning how to save money by captioning their own material.

This workshop will not only teach you how to caption internet videos, but get you started on captioning your own advertisement to have ready for your web site.

When: Monday, July 28th

Time: 10am-12pm Interactive Presentation by Doug Bowen-Bailey
12pm-1pm Work time with one-on-one support
