Campaign Ad
Captioning Made Simple!
|
| |
| FREE CLASS! |
| |
|
In the most recent legislative session, a new law was passed that
requires state-level political candidates to caption their Internet and
Television advertisements and provide online transcripts of their radio
advertisements. The law applies
to those candidates who have signed the Public Subsidy Agreement and
whose professionally produced advertisements are 2 minutes or less. |
| |
| This
free informational training will provide participants with an
understanding of the captioning process, the benefits of captioning, and
how best to acquire and work with captioning vendors.
This
same information can be applied to any ads or PSAs created by
legislators, candidates, political parties or committees.
With the right information, the process of
captioning is inexpensive and much simpler than most people realize.
