MCDHH Testifies and Submits Comments on DeafBlind to SSB Rulemaking

This summer the Commission participated in preliminary rulemaking meetings at the Minnesota State Services for the Blind (SSB). SSB is reviewing Minnesota Rule 3325, which regulates SSB’s vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs. There is still time to get involved with the revision of these rules.

This fall SSB will announce its recommended changes for the rule in the State Register. At this time the public is allowed to comment on the changes and we encourage people to make recommednations if they disagree with the new rule. Below are two links. First is the rule changes developed by SSB and the second is a copy of the recommendations the Commission submitted to SSB.
