Get Registered
Get Informed, Get Involved
Get Out and Vote!
This video series will be available in early October, and will include ASL, captions, voiceovers, and transcripts. It will be posted on http://www.mncdhh.org/take-action/.
Last week, MNCDHH had the pleasure of working with Secretary of State Mark Ritchie to record his speech for the first video in the series. We filmed him in his office at the State Office Building on Capitol Hill, and he did a great job!
Below is a photo of Secretary Ritchie during the video shoot. He is standing with a big smile in front of his conference table. The beautiful colorful seal of the State of Minnesota is visible on the wall in the background. The seal hangs between the U.S. and state flags.
This event is sponsored by the Minnesota Association of Deaf Citizens (MADC), the Minnesota Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (MRID), and ASL Interpreting Services (ASLIS).
The organizers have put together an exciting panel of community members who will debate the issues for this fall’s election. Albert Walla is the moderator, and Emory Dively, Brein Mcnamara, John Anderson, and Rachel Eggert are the panelists.
Representatives from the Kurt Bills (U.S. Senate) and Tony Hernandez (U.S. House) campaigns will also be there!
Please stop by and pick up information from our MNCDHH booth.
