Countdown: 2008

2008 is an important year in Minnesota! On May 11, 2008, Minnesota will be 150 years old! 2008 is also a year Minnesotans will vote for President/Vice President of the U.S.

2008 is also an important year for you and MCDHH! Why? We have a lot planned this year! MCDHH recently received a grant to fund voter education. That means MCDHH is working with the Secretary of State’s Office to help the deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing community in Minnesota learn how to vote! MCDHH also received separate funds to help setup VoteRide for deafblind Minnesotans.

Some of our partners will be the MADC (Minnesota Association of Deaf Citizens), HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America), MDBA (Minnesota DeafBlind Association), and the Minnesota Participation Project.
