MNCDHH is Proud to Announce the Premiere of a New Video Series that Guides You Through the Minnesota State Capitol's Accessibility Services

Published 01-24-2012

Have you ever wanted to visit the Minnesota State Capitol? Now you can learn about the State Capitol’s accessibility services by watching our Capitol Accessibility Video Series on your computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or other favorite device. This series is made accessible through American Sign Language (ASL), open captions, voiceovers, and Microsoft Word transcripts of audio content with video descriptions included.

Whether you want to take a tour, meet with your legislators, or watch a legislative meeting, one of the goals of the Minnesota State Legislature is to make sure that everyone, including visitors with disabilities, has access to legislators and the legislative business conducted at the State Capitol. This video series provides a tour of topics such as where to find help, information about accessible entrances and parking, and services for visitors who are deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing, have vision impairments, and/or limited mobility.

MNCDHH was able to film this video series at the State Capitol with the help of a lot of wonderful folks, and we have given special thanks on our webpage to all those who made it possible.

We hope that you enjoy your mini-tour of the beautiful Minnesota State Capitol and the accessibility services that it offers!
